busride: progress update

Updates have been few and far between on the last stretches of the animation project, which I will devote a new website to when its completely done. For now, here's a progress update.

Possum kick

Birthday present for a friend. Pen and watercolors. Not something I do very often, so I messed up the color in a few places. Also, I suck at pen drawing because I always have a need to erase. Still, I guess I'm getting a little better at it.

Scott Pilgrim vs. Shaun of the Dead

This came about as a request in a forum I frequent to draw "Shaun (of the Dead) and Scott Pilgrim fighting a duel over the heart of Edgar Wright."

Done in my best attempt at Bryan Lee O'Malley's style.

psychic

Sketched during work breaks. A friend sees it as hair, but I intended the background to be psychic energy or aura.

ice queen

Sketched at The Contour while chowing down on a $2 Provolone Burger. Good happy hour food there. Added some quick digital colors to it.

'stache

A man with a mustache. Friend said he looked like a comedian, but didn't know the name. I have no idea.

shadows' toll

A simple black and white illustration inspired by Shadow of the Colossus. Did this for my review blog.
